As our staff grew in size and our caseloads evened out, we wanted to add more advising programming to interact with our students. In deciding what new projects we could take on, we decided to do a survey of our student population to guide this decision.

Maybe they wanted additional information about a different degree on campus or maybe they had questions about which major to choose in order to reach a career goal that is outside of your area of expertise?

Q: Who are you?
Hi! My name is Serena Wallace and I serve as Institute Event Manager on the Special Events team housed within Institute Communications. Our team of three is responsible for executing institute-wide events including Commencement, New Student Convocation, honors luncheons, Institute Address, and Georgia Tech Advisory Board to name a few.
Georgia Tech’s Counseling Center has expanded its staff and mental health services with the launch of a satellite counselor program. Through the program, clinically trained and licensed Counseling Center staff are now stationed in the College of Engineering and the College of Computing.
