Here are the dates for Spring 2025 GTAAN Meetings with dates and times. Meeting presentations, notes, and contact information will be uploaded to the GTAAN Canvas site.

Spring 2025 GTAAN & GTAAN Connections Dates 

  • GTAAN January Meeting: Jan. 16 from 11am-12pm in Clough #211 or via Zoom
    • This meeting will feature Brian Garsh. The Undergraduate Transition Seminars Curriculum & Assessment Committee is reviewing the curriculum of GT 2000 Transfer Student Seminar and looking for input from stakeholders about common issues and challenges that transfer students face.  We heard from transfer students in the fall semester and would like to hear from academic advisors at the January GTAAN meeting.  Please come share your experiences and perspective with us during this focus group discussion.
  • GTAAN Connections: Jan. 28 from 12-1pm
    • This meeting will feature Sudie Davis who will go through all things NACADA--conferences, leadership, etc.
  • GTAAN February Meeting: Feb. 13 from 11am-12pm in Clough #211 or via Zoom
    • This meeting will feature Jamilieh Harris who will be talking about employee benefits TAP (Tuition Assistance Program)/STRAP (Staff Tuition Reimbursement Assistance Program). Information about important guidelines and deadlines will also be addressed. Please attend if you have ever used this program, are currently enrolled, or are interested in learning more!  
    • We'll also be hearing from Chad Sliepder, Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Faculty-Co Director. He will share about the 2025 QEP and recent updates. The 2025 QEP: Leaders in Progress and Service--will deliver a program, available to all undergraduates, and is intentionally designed for transformative impact. It will prepare students to exemplify the leaders envisioned in GT's mission and motto.
  • GTAAN Connections: Feb. 25 from 12-1pm in Clough #211
  • GTAAN March Meeting: Mar. 13 from 11am-12pm in Clough #211 or via Zoom
    • Please join us for updates from Director of International Student and Scholar Services, Tina Rousselot de Saint Ceran about updates regarding our international student and scholars.
    • We'll also be joined by the Registrar's Office, Crystal Elster and Ansley Sharp with crucial information regarding transfer and incoming first year students, and the new Assistant Director of New Student and Transition Programs, James Allen who will speak about the upcoming FASET season.
  • GTAAN April Meeting: Apr. 3 at 11am in Clough #211 or via Zoom.
    • Please join us to hear from our Exploratory Advising Team: Emmie Cass, Devoni Williams, and Nicole Leonard. This meeting is especially for those advisors in charge of change of major processes for their department. Time will be provided for reach major to share their own process to the group.
