GTAAN aspires to impact student success by building and cultivating an interactive, engaged, and collaborative community of advisors, student service professionals and other campus stakeholders.

Mission and Goals

• Encourage continual learning by providing professional development opportunities for academic advisors
• Build and sustain supportive networks for sharing best practices and resources, incorporating new policies and information within the GTAAN community through communications and meetings
• Serve as a liaison and advocate to the greater campus, specifically the Office of Undergraduate Education, for the academic advising community
• Engage GTAAN members to involve them in interdepartmental dialogues for the betterment of the academic advising community
