Q: What are some of your favorite activities/hobbies?
A: In my spare time, I love to read. I’m trying to read at least 30 books this year, so let me know if you have any recommendations! I enjoy traveling – my next trip is to Charleston, SC. I also love a good TV show binge watching session. Most recently, I started the show “The Crown.”

Q: What is the best part of your job?
A: I love being a helpful resources to our students. When they come to me with a question or problem and I’m able to assist them, it’s so rewarding. Ultimately, the greatest joy for me is when the students graduate. Knowing that I was a small part of making that happen is why I love my job.

Q: Where is your favorite place on campus?
A: I love when I get to walk around “Old Campus” near Tech Tower. So much history surrounds that part of campus and I try to take that in.

Q: Unique/exciting thing you bring to Georgia Tech?
A: I find that my energy and positivity are always welcomed. Students can be nervous to come speak with an advisor, but I believe that my compassionate and energetic personality makes the students feel at ease. I like to think that these qualities carry over with my colleagues as well. I’m always thinking up new team building activities that we can participate in.

Q: Anything else that you would like for the GTAAN community to know about you and/or your role at Tech?
A: Know that my door is always open! I’m happy to answer any questions you may have or just meet up for coffee or lunch.

Thanks so much for letting us feature you this month, Kaitlyn!
