2021 GTAAN Virtual Best Practices Conference
What is a "Best Practices" Conference?
GTAAN's goal is to help advisors share their best practices for creating efficient and effective academic advising systems. Please join us virtually this year to learn how colleges and universities in Georgia and beyond are reaching students through innovative advising strategies.
COVID-19 brought us countless challenges over the last year since having to shift to virtual advising models. However, these challenges have also brought us opportunities! Academic advising and student services have taken on a completely new life in a virtual world, and some things are here to stay.
With this year's theme, Re-envisioning Collaboration & Community in Advising: Building Virtual Bridges, we hope to capture the spirit of this new era of virtual student services.
GTAAN's Virtual Best Practices Conference provides a collaborative space to share ideas and is also a great opportunity to safely network with and learn from student affairs professionals at other institutions!
The Georgia Tech Academic Advisors Network (GTAAN) normally hosts this annual Best Practices Conference at the Georgia Tech Scheller College of Business in Midtown Atlanta. However, as with many things in 2021, GTAAN is taking Best Practices virtual! You do not have to work at Georgia Tech to attend or present at the Best Practices Conference!
