Division of Professional Practice (DoPP)

New DoPP Blog!

DoPP has launched a new blog. Check it out at www.georgiatechdopp.wordpress.com. We need students to send us their stories for the "Our Cool Students" section of the blog. We're looking for short write-ups (less than 300 words) that highlight a unique, humorous, inspiring or enlightening moment that students have had during their co-op, internship or work abroad experience. Submissions can be sent to Ann Blasick at ann.blasick@dopp.gatech.edu. Deadline is Friday, Nov 6th.

We've Got Jobs!

The Division of Professional Practice's internship, grad co-op, co-op and work abroad programs have internship and co-op openings! Do you want to work in Chile? Do you want to work for a non-profit? Do you want to work near campus? Do you want to work for a Fortune 500 company? All DoPP programs are actively seeking students who are interested in gaining an internship or co-op. Students should be flexible on where and when - but hey, not many people can say they have openings!

Registering Spring Jobs

Please remind students who have accepted spring internship or co-op positions to register with DoPP in order to maintain full-time student status while working and to ensure that their work experience appears on their transcript. We will give them the ability to register for a free 6, 9 or 12 audit-hour course depending on the number of hours/week they are working. To qualify, internships must be at least 20 hours/week over 16-18 weeks.
